Eligibility

• Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) with at least 55% marks, or an equivalent grade, from a recognised Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Ph.D. in Law, or in a closely allied discipline relevant to the advertised specialisation, awarded in accordance with UGC regulations on Ph.D. minimum standards and procedure, or equivalent.
• All qualifications and experience will be as per UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers in universities, subsequent amendments, and the regulations adopted by GITAM Deemed University.

Research Profile and Experience

• At least five research publications in peer-reviewed, UGC CARE-listed, Scopus-indexed journals or reputed edited volumes.
• Evidence of participation in research projects, conferences, seminars, workshops, moot court or clinical legal education initiatives.
• Ability to contribute to ongoing or proposed research centres or projects in the School of Law.
• Fresh Ph.D. holders with a strong research profile may apply.
• Prior teaching or research experience at a university, National Law University, reputed law school or research institution will be an added advantage.
