Roles and Responsibilities

• Advise corporate clients on legal, contractual, regulatory and compliance matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, service, consultancy and employment agreements, as well as non-disclosure agreements.
• Advise on employment and labour law matters, HR policies and workplace compliance.
• Research Acts, rules, regulations, notifications and precedents, and prepare research notes and legal opinions.
• Identify legal and commercial risks and recommend practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Attend client meetings, prepare meeting notes and coordinate with clients.
• Prepare legal notices, advisory reports, presentations and compliance checklists.
• Own assignments, maintain records and trackers, and work closely with senior lawyers and the Corporate team.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
• Two to three years of corporate law experience, which is mandatory, at a law firm with corporate clients or in an in-house legal team.
• Hands-on experience in corporate advisory and commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation.
• Good understanding of employment and labour laws, including compliance requirements, statutory regulations and legal procedures.
• Familiarity with corporate law.
• Practical understanding of how businesses operate and the commercial impact of legal decisions.
• Strong research, drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research platforms.
