About the Opportunity
Sujata Chaudhri IP Attorneys is hiring for its patents practice in Noida. Sujata Chaudhri IP Attorneys is inviting applications for the positions of Junior Patent Associate and Patent Associate.
Work Profile
- Junior Patent Associate: Patent search, prior-art analysis and patent drafting.
- Patent Associate: Patent search, prior-art analysis, patent drafting and prosecution.
- The roles involve understanding inventions and working across technology-driven domains.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conducting patent searches and prior-art analysis.
- Drafting patent specifications and claims.
- Assisting with patent prosecution matters.
- For the Patent Associate role, responsibilities may include examination report analysis, claim amendments, prior-art analysis and hearings before the Indian Patent Office.
Eligibility
- Junior Patent Associate: Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Patent Associate: Candidates with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and patent experience will be preferred.
- For the Patent Associate role, candidates with a background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related technical discipline are preferred.
- Candidates should have strong technical comprehension, analytical and drafting skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with patent databases and Indian patent practice.
- Experience as a Registered Indian Patent Agent would be an added advantage for the Patent Associate role.
Eligibility
Junior Patent Associate: Candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Patent Associate: Candidates with 2-4 years of relevant experience. Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and patent experience will be preferred.
